A set of activities and professions have been exempted from the new restrictions imposed by the Supreme Committee that began on May 8 to continue till May 15.
‘Foodstuff stores that sell groceries, meat, poultry, fish, bakery products, honey, herbs, Omani sweets, spices, nuts, mineral water, ice cream, juice, fruits, vegetables and juice are exempted from the ban,’ the Government Communication Centre stated.
The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion said that it is permissible to conduct business inside a facility or shop without the entry of customers for any commercial activity that is not mentioned in the list of excluded activities.
