The Ministry of Labour announced on Monday that the holiday for Eid al Fitr for employees of the departments of the state administrative apparatus and other legal entities and private sector establishments will begin from Wednesday, May 12. 

The holiday will end depending on the day Eid falls. 

In case the first day of Eid falls on Thursday, May 13, the holiday will end on Saturday, May 15, and work will resume on Sunday, May 16.

In case the first day of Eid falls on Friday, May 14, the holiday will end on Monday, May 17, and work will resume on Tuesday, May 18. 

The decision allows employers and employees to agree on work arrangements to compensate the holiday, if necessity arises.
