HM issues decree appointing non-resident ambassadors

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik issued Royal Decree No 41/2021 on Wednesday appointing non-resident ambassadors.

Article 1 appoints Dr Ahmed Salim Mohammed Ba’omar, the sultanate’s ambassador to Italy as extraordinary and plenipotentiary non-resident ambassador to San Marino.

Article 2 appoints Saleh Sulaiman Ahmed al Harthy, the sultanate’s ambassador to Kenya as extraordinary and plenipotentiary non-resident ambassador to Malawi.

Article 3 appoints Dr Mohammed Said Khalifa al Busaidi, the sultanate’s ambassador to Japan as extraordinary and plenipotentiary non-resident ambassador to New Zealand.

Article 4 appoints Saleh Mohammed Ahmed al Saqri, the sultanate’s ambassador to Vietnam as extraordinary and plenipotentiary non-resident ambassador to Cambodia and Laos.

Article 5 appoints Sheikh Dr Abdullah Salim Hamad al Harthy, the sultanate’s ambassador to Netherlands as extraordinary and plenipotentiary non-resident ambassador to Luxembourg.

Article 6 states that this decree will be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
