Dr Ahmed al Sa’eedi, Minister of Health, visited Salalah on Monday to take stock of the COVID-19 situation in Dhofar and stated that His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has directed to study the need for a field hospital in the governorate. 

During a visit to Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah, he said that there are enough beds to accommodate COVID-19 patients. “What the hospital needs currently is additional medical devices and support staff,” he said.
