Bank Muscat’s EPP sees good response

Bank Muscat’s Easy Payment Plan (EPP) for its credit cardholders has been receiving an excellent response from its customers and merchant partners over the year.  

The EPP scheme was earlier launched by the leading financial services provider in the sultanate in line with its vision ‘To serve you better, everyday’ and commitment to offer attractive value propositions for the benefit of its customers. Through the EPP scheme, customers can make high value purchases from the outlets of participating merchants and pay for these purchases in 12 monthly instalments without having to pay any interest.  

Amjad Iqbal al Lawati, assistant general manager – Cards & eBanking, Bank Muscat, said, “In line with the bank’s customer-centric vision and providing of excellent financing facilities, the Easy Payment Plan allows customers to avail goods and services and pay conveniently over a period of 12 months.  

“Customers can easily purchase high-value items without having to pay high interest rates or to delay their purchase decisions. Bank Muscat continues to be proactive and listen to the needs of its customers so as to provide products and services which best address their needs.” 

All Bank Muscat credit cardholders are eligible for the offer at over 100 participating merchant outlets including electronics, home furniture, auto services, jewellery, insurance and healthcare. Bank Muscat credit cards, which spell convenience and security, are a preferred mode of payment and the EPP scheme reiterates the bank’s commitment to promoting secure card payments in Oman. Customers can visit any of the participating merchants and request for an EPP at the time of making the payment. Each time a purchase is made through EPP, the available credit limit in the credit card account will be reduced by an amount equal in value to the purchase amount.
