MoH, PDO ink deal to provide medical supplies to Khoula Hospital

The Ministry of Health (MoH) signed an agreement with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) on Tuesday to provide medical supplies to the Orthopaedic Department of Khoula Hospital.  

The agreement was signed by H E Dr Fatma bint Mohammed al Ajmi, Undersecretary for Administrative, Financial and Planning Affairs in MoH, and Eng Abdul-Amir bin Abdulmuhsin al Ajmi, executive director of External Affairs and Value Creation at PDO. 

H E Dr Fatma stressed on the importance of partnerships between government and other sectors in the sultanate for the good of the public, and praised PDO’s initiative that will contribute in enhancing the services provided by the hospital. 

In addition, she pointed out that signing such agreements is part of PDO’s strategy of partnerships adopted for the common good and improvement of community services and developmental projects. 

Ajmi underlined the company’s eagerness to activate partnerships with government institutions for the development in the country, particularly in the health sector.
