H E Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, held a session of consultations on Sunday with Sheikh Dr Ahmed Nasser al Mohammed al Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait.
The session reviewed the strong fraternal relations binding the two brotherly countries. The two sides stressed their eagerness to boost the constructive cooperation between the two countries to serve joint interest.
Later, H E Sayyid Badr tweeted, “A fruitful and constructive consultative meeting with my brother Sheikh Dr Ahmed al Sabah, during which we affirmed the work towards more cooperation between our two countries, and support for our joint Gulf action.”
The two sides reviewed regional and international issues, and exchanged views to enhance the GCC joint action in light of the outcomes of the Alula Summit, which was held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in January.
The session was attended by a number of officials from both sides, including H E Dr Sulaiman Abdullah al Harbi, Ambassador of Kuwait to Oman.
Sheikh al Sabah and his accompanying delegation had arrived on Saturday night and left on Sunday afternoon.
