As part of Dhofar Municipality’s efforts to monitor the activities of street vendors and mobile cafes, its chairman Dr Ahmed bin Mohsen al Ghassani has issued a decision to form a team.

As per a statement issued by the municipality, the team will also look to provide the operators of the mobile cafes with alternative sites.

‘According to the local decision No 1/ 2020, the street vendors and owners of mobile cafes must obtain a licence from the concerned authorities,’ the municipality stated.
