The land borders of Oman will remain closed until further notice, the Supreme Committee said on Sunday. However, citizens who are outside the country can return by adhering to institutional health isolation for a period of seven days.
The move is to control the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. On January 17, Oman closed its land borders for one week until January 24. The closure was extended till February 1 and then to February 8, which has now been extended until further notice.
