Temperatures will drop by a few degrees starting from Thursday evening until Saturday. It is caused by northwesterly and northerly winds coming from the Arabian Sea and south Iran respectively, Meteorological Department said.
An official at the Met said, “This is a normal phenomenon of the year and temperatures fluctuate in this time of the year. The skies will be clear in most parts of the country with chances of late night to early morning low clouds or fog patches over parts of North and South of Sharqiyah. There is no forecast for rains though.”
The sea waves will be moderate to rough along the Musandam governorate coasts with a maximum wave height of 1.5m, and a maximum of 1m in the rest of the sultanate.
