H H Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik bin Taimour al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, received a written message from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Defence of the United Arab Emirates, inviting him to attend the 15th International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) and the Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX 2021) in February.

The invitation was delivered by Mohammed Sultan al Suwaidi, UAE’s Ambassador to the sultanate, when he visited H H Sayyid Shihab in his office at Al Murtafaa Camp on Monday. 

The meeting reviewed the fraternal relations binding the two brotherly countries and discussed a number of issues of common concern.

H H Sayyid Shihab also received H E Ayse Sozen Usluer, Ambassador of Turkey to the sultanate, at Al Murtafaa Camp on Monday. The two sides reviewed relations between the two friendly countries and exchanged views on matters of common interest.
