In the fight against the COVID- 19 pandemic, the role played by nursing staff has proved to be a major factor in controlling and managing the disease in the sultanate. 

The crisis has revealed the magnificent efforts exerted by nurses, as they are dedicated to care for those affected, control and prevent the disease, stated the Ministry of Health (MoH). Recently, nursing staff in the sultanate’s various health institutions were honoured by Ooredoo, which emphasised the significance of the company’s partnership with the public sector in Oman for the common interest. 

Ooredoo is a key supporter and partner of the Ministry of Health. ‘Despite being at a high risk of exposure due to direct contact with the patients, nurses and all health personnel are continuing to perform their duty, fighting vigorously on the frontlines to safeguard lives of our country’s people,’ the ministry added
