Mercedes-Benz Oman has announced the appointment of Shaun Michael as its new chief executive officer.
An industry veteran, Michael is set to add further momentum to the company’s journey of transformation. Michael said, “I am delighted to be joining Mercedes-Benz Oman and honoured to be leading a great team that has been the driving force behind the company’s unprecedented growth over almost five decades. Although these are difficult times, there is much to look forward to and I am confident of a promising future, as we continue to push digital innovation, trendsetting vehicles, and customer service second to none in the market.”
With over 28 years of premium brand automotive retail experience in Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi, Michael has held a variety of senior roles throughout the industry. Prior to joining Mercedes-Benz Oman, he was the chief operating officer at Sandown Motors Mercedes-Benz in South Africa.
