In this edition, Balqees al Hassani, educator and president of Knowledge Oman, ‘Explained’ the changing dynamics between teachers and students during the new normal of online education. Balqees is optimistic that this new trend in education will never be a hurdle or affect the relationship that students and teachers share.

EXPLAINED

“I really don’t think online education will impact the relationship. Indeed, currently it’s the only way they can connect, thanks to technology. Both students and teachers are adapting nicely to the new changes and the bond is getting much stronger.

“Remote learning will help children and their level of responsibility will increase. With time, new ways will evolve which even we as educators now cannot comprehend.

“There will be some challenges for sure, but right now at this crucial juncture, online learning is the only option to deal with the new normal.”
