The Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulances (PACDA) has issued guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19 among school students.
‘With students back in school, they must adhere to certain guidelines to avoid infection. It is important to adopt good hygiene, including washing hands with soap and water often, using sanitisers, keeping a distance of at least 2m from others and staying away from gatherings,’ PACDA stated.
It called on students to avoid crowding when riding school buses by leaving empty seats between co-passengers.
‘Students should not touch the face and always wear masks.’
