All passengers to Oman will need to get a PCR test for COVID-19 done not more than 96 hours before arrival and a second one on landing here.
Those arriving must be in quarantine for seven days after landing. These procedures will apply to all arrivals through airports and land borders, the Supreme Committee tasked with the COVID-19 situation announced on Sunday.
In addition to reducing the 14-day quarantine period to seven days, a PCR test must be done on the eighth day in Oman, the Supreme Committee stated.
It also said that in response to requests for community participation in the nation’s efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, the Supreme Committee has now approved voluntary work. All those interested can register in the Wali’s Office in their wilayat.
