The Oman Women of the Year Awards recently recognised the great achievements of 30 women who excelled in their respective line of work and felicitated them for their contributions in the Sultanate of Oman.

As a partner for the Oman Women of the Year Awards for the second year in a row, Mazda endeavours to identify with the spirit of excellence found in Oman’s people, who in their reflective, celebratory and confident selves set themselves apart in their distinctiveness, the same way Mazda’s vehicles do so in theirs. Mazda’s ‘You have the drive’ campaign focuses on this spirit of achievement and inspires them to reach for the sky, to achieve greatness in whatever they put their hands to, and in the process, continue to set benchmarks in excellence. 

The Oman Women of the Year Awards recognises the extraordinary contributions and achievements of women who are shaping Oman’s social-cultural and economic scenario across 30 different sectors of industry. In line with the awards, Mazda, through their ‘You have the drive’ campaign, have taken the opportunity to recognise the pioneering spirit of Oman’s women as well, and encourages them in their respective pursuits by highlighting their achievements and spurring them on to reach their full potential.

Mrs. Widad Sultan who works in the Marketing Department at Towell Auto Centre (TAC) added, “In celebration of Mazda’s 100th year and the Oman Woman of the Year Awards, Mazda, has not only developed vehicles that match the ambitions and aspirations of its drivers, but has also endeavoured to relate to the women that ‘have the drive’ by embodying and encouraging their spirit of excellence. I have been working with TAC for over 9 years and I always look forward to Mazda’s global practices, learning and growth opportunities and new challenges to further enhance my career. I play an important role in working as a bridge between existing customer experience and communicating their unique experiences with potential new customers, among other things.”
