H E Dr Madiha bint Ahmed bin Nasser al Shibaniyah, Minister of Education, has granted educational directorates the provision to implement distance education in no less than 90 per cent of the governorates’ schools.

On Thursday, she asked director generals of all directorates to determine whether their schools apply for distance education or blended education.

In her meeting with the director generals, the minister explained that the list of schools that will implement the blended education system will be announced this week through the educational directorates.

According to the minister, lessons will be broadcast on the Oman Mubasher and Oman Cultural TV channels, as well as on educational platforms.
