H E Dr Ahmed Mohammed Al Sa’eedi, Minister of Health, received at his office H E Mohammed Ahmed Fahmi, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the sultanate.
Both sides exchanged cordial conversations and discussed means of cooperation between the two brotherly countries in a number of aspects including health.
The Egyptian ambassador expressed the gratitude of the Egyptian government to the sultanate for its outstanding support to the Egyptian nationals and community living in Oman and dealing with the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Furthermore, the epidemiological situation of the current pandemic was highlighted during the meeting.
The global efforts exerted in combating the disease and aspects of cooperation between the two sides in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic were underlined.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister of Health affirmed the significance of exchanging visits between the two countries with the purpose of developing cooperation and exchange of experience in the health sector.
