Muhannad Saeed Mohammed al Amrani, 23, from the wilayat of Nizwa in Dakhliyah governorate, has been capturing images of the stunning landscape of Omani wadis and promoting the tourism potential of the sultanate on various social media platforms.
Amrani has been exploring new spots and photographing Omani wadis since 2012.
Speaking to Muscat Daily, Amrani said, “As an adventurer and a photographer, my goal is not just to take beautiful pictures of the place and gain the admiration of followers. My objective is to show the people the wonderful wadis in different parts of Oman.”
Earlier this month, Amrani photographed Wadi Hawar, in the wilayat of Wadi Bani Khalid, which is one of the most beautiful wadis in North Sharqiyah.
“It is a beautiful place for swimming and camping. There are many ponds. It’s a difficult road to the top. I climbed about 100m to photograph the area. I hope to provide services in that region to attract tourists and Omani families to visit these places,” Amrani said.
He has captured a number of picturesque landscapes of the valleys of Oman.
The places he has photographed include Wadi al Nakhr in the wilayat of Al Hamra, Wadi Tanuf in Nizwa in Dakhliyah, and Wadi al Abyad in Nakhal, South Batinah.
“I will continue to promote Omani tourism and attract tourists,” he said.
