Credentials of Oman’s envoy to Tunisia received

President Kais Saied of the Republic of Tunisia last week received at Carthage Palace the credentials of Yahya bin Mossa al Bakri as extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the sultanate to Tunisia in the presence of Othman Jerandi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad.

During the meeting, the sultanate’s ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik along with best wishes of good health and wellbeing to President Saied, and the Tunisian people permanent progress and prosperity.

The sultanate’s ambassador expressed his pride in presenting his credentials to President Saied. He stressed on exerting every effort to promote the relations between the sultanate and the Republic of Tunisia in various spheres to serve the joint interests of the two countries’ brotherly peoples.

On his turn, President Saied asked the ambassador to convey his greetings and best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people continuous progress and growth. President Saied promised the ambassador all support from him and the Tunisian government to facilitate his work.
