MoH’s patient services department continues work

31 Aug 2020

The Patients and Clients Services Department of the Ministry of Health (MoH) has implemented a number of measures to reduce the spread of the coronavirus and protect both employees and clients from the infection, stated Dr Abeer al Mammari, director of Patient Services.

The department closed the reception hall and started to receive applications and inquiries via email and phone.

The department further implemented the downsizing of personnel by asking them to work remotely. Meanwhile, their job performance is monitored periodically to ensure that none of the services are delayed.

Dr Abeer added that the department has continued to provide all its assigned services amidst the pandemic. Under the current circumstances, the department receives many inquiries related to the pandemic in general, offering consultation to the inquiries of both citizens and residents. The department continues to communicate with  hospitals and wards to solve issues related to patients in addition to supervising and monitoring administrative procedures for transferring referred patients to the referral hospitals.
