Diam defers bill payments till 2020 end

The Public Authority for Water (Diam) is providing relief to customers who have not paid their bills for more than 120 days. Customers can now pay 50 per cent of their accumulated bills upfront and leave the rest till the end of 2020.

In a statement, Diam said that it is facilitating its subscribers by deferring 50 per cent of bills to the end of 2020.

‘The consumer should pay 50 per cent of the accumulated amount and settle the rest by the end of 2020.’

It also confirmed that such consumers do not have to pay the disconnection fees, which is RO60.

The authority added that the beneficiary of this offer must be a subscriber to its e-portal or Diam app and the consumer must have accumulated dues for more than 120 days.
