PACDA calls for caution while refuelling

15 Jul 2020

The Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulances (PACDA) hailed a petrol station employee for his quick response after a fire broke out in a car while fuelling.

PACDA, which was commenting on a video showing the vehicle catching fire and the fuel station attendant extinguishing the fire before it could spread, calls motorists on the importance of following safety procedures while refuelling.

‘PACDA commends the actions of the station attendant who put out the fire, and it calls on motorists to follow safety procedures while refuelling,’ PACDA said in a statement.
