The Ministry of Manpower (MoM) dealt with 3,771 calls in May for a number of issues, of which 817 calls were related to labour complaints.
In a statement, MoM said, ‘The call centre at the Ministry of Manpower received 3,771 calls during May for a number of issues that represent the sectors the Ministry is responsible for.’
‘They were dealt with, inquiries were answered, notes taken and calls transferred to the relevant departments to take the necessary action and follow-up,’ it adeed.
MoM said 817 calls were related to labour complaints, 656 calls related to laws and regulations and 694 calls were regarding technical challenges facing the beneficiaries of electronic services.
