Dr Sateja Dalal, a medical practitioner in Oman since the last 37 years, has always been busy. However, the current lockdown came as a blessing in disguise as it gave her an opportunity to bring alive a creative side to herself.
“The life of a doctor is always busy, especially for a lady doctor. I always loved painting, handicrafts, designing and decorating. Unfortunately, I never got time to do these. I thank ‘COVID’ which gave me this opportunity during the current lockdown,” she quips.
Dr Sateja pointed out that people usually throw away empty PET bottles, but using her imaginative and creative instincts, she breathed new life into these by converting them into beautiful table décor. She also spent time making doormats, coasters, wall hangings and quilts from unused clothes.
