More than 10,000 reports and complaints were dealt with by the Public Authority for Consumer Protection from February 25 till the end of May.
In a statement, the PACP said that around 10,190 reports and complaints were filed. “This was during the period from February 25 to the end of May 2020 and most of them revolved around high pricing of a number of commodities,” it said.
“The rest of them were related to promotional offers, the expiration of goods and a refusal to provide the service among others,” it added.
