The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has issued a circular to refer all employees of State-Owned Entities who are over the age of 60 to retirement.

In a circular, MoF stated that the order was issued by the Council of Ministers and comes within the government’s efforts to accelerate employment of job seekers.

“This is in line with with the aim of accelerating the pace of employment and providing opportunities to accommodate Omani jobseekers,” the circular said.
