The Royal Oman Police (ROP) detained three citizens who were crossing one of the flooded wadis in Dhofar Governorate. 

In a statement, ROP said three citizens who were crossing a wadi and putting themselves at risk were detained. 

‘The three were detained after they were evacuated by the rescue teams and legal measures were taken against them,’ ROP said. 

Meanwhile, Public Authority for Civil Defense and Ambulance (PACDA) said its rescue teams in Dhofar Governorate managed to rescue a number of people trapped in their vehicle in different wilayats.
