MARA has announced that Saturday, May 23 , will be the last day of the Holy Month of Ramadan and Sunday, May 24, will be the first day of Shawwal or the first day of Eid Al Fitr in Oman

The Eid holidays in the country will also begin on Sunday till Tuesday, May 26 for both public and private sectors. The official work will resume on Wednesday, May 27.

The decision allows employers and employees to agree on work arrangements to compensate this holiday, if necessity arises. Employees whose weekly-off coincides with the holiday of the aforesaid occasion must be compensated.
