Two Asian expatriates have been arrested for growing marijuana plants in South Batinah, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said.
According to officials, they were also found in possession of other narcotic drugs.
In a statement, ROP said, ‘Drug Enforcement Administration and Psychotropic Substances Directorate in South Batinah managed to arrest two Asian nationals for planting marijuana.’
‘Other narcotic drugs were also found with them that were intended to be traded. Legal procedures have been initiated,’ ROP added.
