Drifting cases on the rise, ROP arrests one in Batinah

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested a person for drifting with his vehicle in North Batinah Governorate. 

In a statement issued by ROP, legal measures against the accused have been taken. The case was filed by North Batinah Governorate Police Command. 

‘The Police Command arrested a person accused of drifting his vehicle, and disturbing the public. Legal measures have been taken against him,’ ROP statement said. 

The number of drifting cases have increased in different governorates. Since the beginning of this month, more than five drifters have been arrested. Most of the offenders during this period were reported in Dhakiliya and North Batinah.
