The Government Communications Centre (GCC) has clarified that some tailors infected with COVID-19 have been taken for quarantine as they illegally practiced their profession. 

A statement issued by GCC said, ‘We confirm that the news about the infection of some tailors in one of the Wilayats with coronavirus is true.’ 

‘We call upon everyone to abide by the decisions in order to avoid any legal accountability that may arise from such violations,’ it added. 

During Ramadan, tailors are the busiest lot trying to finish the orders placed by people, mainly women, for their Eid attire.
