Over 400 Omani businesses register on Zad

An online platform seeking to promote and open up marketing opportunities for SMEs and products developed by households is seeing a tremendous response from the small Omani businesses. 

Over 400 Omani establishments have registered on Zad Oman electronic platform in six days, according to Eng Said al Azri, CEO and founder Ewathiq, the operator of Zad Oman. 

Riyada in cooperation with Al Raffd Fund, on April 12 launched the virtual first phase of Zad Oman electronic platform, which comprises a variety of products and services provided by SMEs and household businesswomen. 

Eng Azri said, “Over 400 Omani establishments have registered on Zad Oman electronic platform in six days. Zad Oman seeks to promote and open up marketing outlets in the sultanate and abroad for products of SMEs with a view to increasing their sales and motivating society to purchase these products. 

“The institutions that are registered will be checked and they should ensure their readiness to operate in the local market.”
