Construction work has started at Hai al Naseem, the first Public Private Partnership (PPP) integrated housing project in the country, located in Barka, the Supreme Council for Planning stated on Wednesday.
Built in cooperation with SCP and the Ministry of Housing, Hai al Naseem will be an integrated housing project with more than 1,000 units and aims to provide safe, secure and stylish living for citizens.
Eng Yarub al Hadhrami, project manager, said that construction work of 22 residential units at Hai al Naseem as mockup units along with all associated services such as internal roads, sidewalks, corridors and landscaping has commenced.
“Some of these units will be used later as Sales and Marketing Centre for the project,” he said.
Eng Hadhrami added that the sale of first phase will start in July this year, while the construction work of the first phase of the project will commence in August.
The initial studies of Hai al Naseem such as traffic and environmental studies have been completed. In addition, all designs for the residential area and the infrastructure facilities have been completed, he said. The private sector, represented by Adrak Developer, is implementing the Hai al Naseem project including all facilities and necessary infrastructure within the project.
The project offers Omanis eligible for land grants a suitable option to live in an integrated neighbourhood that is offering all requirements and modern lifestyle at a very attractive price.
