The Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Oman on Tuesday touched 813 after the announcement of 86 new ones.
The Ministry of Health said that six more patients have recovered bringing the total to 130 along with four deaths.

GCC Undersecretaries meet on Ramadan
The GCC Undersecretaries of Health Ministries held a video conference to review the precautionary measures that will be taken by the states during the month of Ramadan. They also discussed the medical, legal and legislative procedures related to washing the body along with formulating a unified definition for the death caused from COVID-19. They praised the efforts exerted by staff in the health sector as well as the cooperation of people and authorities.
Expired gloves seized
The Public Authority for Consumer Protection has said that it seized over 70,000 pieces of expired medical gloves. The authority urges all to abide by health and legal requirements.
Manufacturing PPE
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry said that it has received four proposals from firms to manufacture personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and masks as per specifications approved by the World Health Organization.
