Responding to an urgent need of the hour, a private healthcare company in the sultanate has come forward to deliver essential items to people at their doorsteps.
Kunooz Safety is providing items like sterilisers, masks, gloves, etc across the Muscat governorate reducing people’s time and effort.
“We started delivering healthcare items following the outbreak of the coronavirus. The Ministry of Health requested us to provide people with essential items,” Tahnoon al Harthy, co-owner of Kunooz Safety, told Muscat Daily. Established in 2012, Kunooz Safety provides professional safety equipment. And it deals with a number of government and private agencies.
“We work from 7am to 8pm. We have four young men who deliver items all over Muscat governorate.” Importing raw materials and healthcare items is a challenge, Harthy said.
“Meeting the huge demand for items in the local market due to the virus outbreak is not easy. We are now turning to other countries like the UAE and Egypt to get things here as soon as possible.” As for now Kunooz Safety has a good stock of masks, disinfectants and gloves, he said.
“We can deliver small or large amounts for individuals or companies at their doorstep. I urge people not to pay attention to rumours nor to buy counterfeit medical equipment. Ensure that you get correct information about products.”
Kunooz Safety can be contacted at 94000838 or 22053209.
