Registration of vehicles older than ten years can now be done online, the ROP has said.  

Speaking to Muscat Daily, an ROP official said, “Those who own vehicles older than ten years in Oman can renew registration through our portal.” 

Normally, such vehicles first go through a technical inspection before the registration [mulkia] is renewed.  The ROP has suspended customer services due to the Novel Coronavirus outbreak until further notice.
