Galfar Engineering & Contracting Company, Oman’s largest construction and contracting firm, has been awarded a new contract worth RO9.45mn.

‘This is to inform our esteemed shareholders and investors that Galfar received the letter of award for Fahud Runway Rehabilitation Project of RO9.45mn,’ the company said in a disclosure filed to the Muscat Securities Market on Wednesday.

Galfar said that the project completion period is 11.5 months effective from April 7, 2020 and mobilisation period to start the project will be 45 days.
