Dar al Atta’a delivered a new home at a cost of RO30,000 in February in Seeb under its my house-my shelter programme.
The initiative under Dar al Atta’a Family Care Program includes building homes, maintenance, monthly supplies, and paying water and electricity bills and other needs. The association adopts the programme of building and maintaining homes, believing in the importance of the home as the first safety pillar for the individual and the family. Without it, the individual cannot lead a decent life. Since its foundation, the association has endeavoured to find better life opportunities for the needy. The association has built 86 houses till date under the programme and maintained more than 500.
All cases for which assistance is provided are subject to study in accordance with the system followed by the association in the system of studying the family’s financial capabilities and needs, and conducting a field study and research to ensure the family’s need and assess the situation.
The focus is on families that are unable to meet their needs due to illnesses, ageing, low income or other reasons.
