Travel Point, a leading travel and hospitality company announced on Wednesday that it has received ISO 9001:2015 certification for quality management.
TUV Nord, Middle East, a renowned accreditation firm for certification of management systems has awarded the certification to Travel Point.
Sunil D’Souza, CEO, Travel Point Oman said, “We have developed and implemented our quality management system in order to improve the overall performance, maintain a high level of quality and strong customer service and to provide sound basis for sustainable development initiatives. Our decision to work towards ISO 9001:2015 version accreditation demonstrates the commitment in providing a high quality and consistent services to our clients through our ongoing investment in technology and development.”
D’Souza said that the certificate ensures key processes within the company that deliver customer excellence across various business verticals such as ‘corporate travel, retail travel, holidays, hajj/umrah travel, tourist visa processing are up to international standard and consistent quality is maintained across the value/supply chain’.
The ISO 9001 standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process assessment and continual improvement.
