H E Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, on Monday met senior Finnish and German officials.

At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building, H E Alawi met Kai Sauer, Undersecretary for Foreign and Security Policy in the Finland foreign ministry.

The meeting reviewed the existing relations and discussed means of enhancing cooperation in various political, economic and cultural fields.

The meeting also touched on a number of regional and international issues of common concern. The two sides stressed the importance of dialogue and cooperation and solutions for various issues in a bid to maintain peace, security and stability in the region and the world.

H E Alawi also met Dr Philipp Ackermann, director general for Middle East, Africa and Latin America Affairs at the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.

The two sides reviewed the existing relations between the two countries and means of enhancing them. They also touched on the current regional and international developments.
