Oman Post said it would deliver books up to 3kg for free at doorsteps during the ongoing Muscat International Book Fair.  

In a tweet, Oman Post said, ‘Muscat International Book Fair is here and so are #oman_post offers! Send books to your loved ones and friends for up to 3kg for free with #oman_post.’ Citing the reason, the tweet added, ‘Why? Because we love #delivering_knowledge.’ 

As many as 946 publishing houses are participating in this year’s fair, an increase of 64 over last year’s, in addition to an extra 184 pavilions. 

Oman Post has a dedicated stall at the exhibition venue from where buyers can ship the books to the postal service provider’s 83 branches across the sultanate for delivery. 

The company’s representatives will receive books up to 3kg for free delivery within Oman, wrapping books as gifts, and providing public an extremely unique encounter by means of Oman Post’s philately section. 

Muscat International Book Fair is taking place till March 2 at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre. @swapna_tarafdar
