Sandan Development on Tuesday launched the setting up of the RO6mn waterfront Al Saif Residential Complex in Al Ashkharah.

 

The 24,000sq m project, set on the beach with plenty of greenery and clean fresh air, promises a unique experience of peaceful living away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Sandan Development unveiled the project under the auspices of Eng Siham al Harthy, director general of Real Estate Development at the Ministry of Housing. Construction of the project would take 36 months.

 

The Tuesday’s event also marked the start of reservations and sale of 75 villas of different sizes and integrated services.

 

Eng Siham expressed her happinessthat Al Ashkharah needs such projects to promote tourism and attract those who look for a unique climate and location.

 

“The niyabat of Al Ashkharah is an ideal destination for practising many recreational activities, such as surfing, fishing, and beach camping. Visitors can also enjoy lagoons and observe birds and turtles. Al Ashkharah is also close to many other tourist attractions, including Ras al Jinz Turtle Reserve, Masirah Island, and Ras al Hadd.”

 

Eng Siham added that Sandan Development is among the active real estate developers in the sultanate and a true contributor to the development process due to its quality projects that cater to various sectors.

 

Muhammad bin Sulaiman al Kindi, chairperson of Sandan Development, said, “We aspire to be a real contributor to the development process in the sultanate through providing solutions that cater for all segments.

 

“Al Saif Residential Complex is significant and a revitaliser for the niyabat of Al Ashkharah in the light of the lack of similar projects. Being the first-of-its-kind there, it will have positive effects in stimulating tourist traffic in Al Ashkharah, one of the tourist attractions thanks to its moderate climate and pristine beaches. The project is the result of in-depth studies,” Kindi said.

 

The Al Saif Residential Complex includes 75 villas of three different sizes. Beachfront Pearl Villas of 380m have five bedrooms along with the annexes. Breeze Villas of 242m have four bedrooms with their annexes. Seashells, Coral and Garden Villas of 204m have three bedrooms and their annexes.

 

The prices of the villas in the new project will range between RO50,000 and RO60,000, said Kindi.
