Bids called for Musandam heritage, entertainment project

To provide entertainment services and attract tourists, the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources (MRMWR) is planning to set up a heritage, entertainment project in the wilayat of Madha in Musandam governorate.

 

“The ministry has called on institutions and individuals to invest in 20 per cent of the land of Madha Heritage Village in Musandam governorate,” said an official at the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources.

 

He added, “The land will be offered for investment for 15 years. The deadline for investment bids is March 8.”

 

The project will include restaurants, cafés, electronic games, and a heritage inn. The project aims to provide recreational services to citizens, residents, and attract tourists. Strengthened by natural elements such as unique mountains, sea, islands and wildlife, Musandam offers a lot to the tourism sector.

 

According to the Ministry of Tourism, the number of tourists who visited Musandam in the last nine months of 2018 reached 250,000. It showed that the varied tourism products of the governorate and its components are attracting tourists.
