State Council received students from the Mazoon University College on Monday to apprise them of its powers, and work mechanisms.

The students were received by Amjad bin Yahya al Busaidi, director of the council’s Public Relations Department.

Dr Ahmed bin Humaid al Shibli, deputy assistant secretary-general for Information and Research Center Affairs, presented an introductory brief on the Council of Oman and its role in national work, referred to the provisions of the State Council, its organisational structure, the stages that the draft law passes in the council, in addition to introducing its work and activities.
