Diam has announced that electrical fault at the main water pumping station in Sohar Industrial Port was fixed on Wednesday afternoon.

The failure occurred on Tuesday evening. Diam stated that the main water pumping station at the Sohar Industrial Port connects to North Batinah and Buraimi. The emergency plan was activated to deal with the emergency, by activating the interconnection between the desalination plants in Barka and Sohar, and the operating wellfields. These measures contributed to the continuity of water supplies during the following 48 hours.
