Muscat International Jewellery Exhibition from December 3-7

The tenth Muscat International Jewellery Exhibition (MIJEX),will be held at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre from December 3 to 7.  

This year’s edition will have over 150 exhibitors from Oman, India, Italy, Austria, the UK, the US, Lithuania, Kuwait, Yemen,  Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Turkey, Lebanon and the UAE.  

The exhibitors will showcase their latest jewellery collections, classic bestsellers and inspiring up-and-coming trends.  

It will have a diverse range of products while new jewellery products will be available at the Europe, Hong Kong, India and the Jovial watch pavilions.  

The event is staging its first runway show as part of the ten-year celebration.  

The pavilions:  

Europe: It takes its pride in extensive knowledge as well as exceptional customer service. It will showcase incomparable selection of designs from engagement ring, diamond and fine jewellery.  

Hong Kong: It will cover all the bases, whether you’re into couture pieces, everyday classics or more unconventional styles. A wide range of quality, designer timepieces and jewellery will be on display.  

India: A wide and varied range of jewellery will surely clasp your heart, be it gold, silver or diamond, you will find everything here.  

Jovial watches: It’s another world. It will surely bring joy and self-assurance with their 90 years in the art of Swiss watch making.  

In tandem with the many business upgrades, MIJEX mixes business with pleasure. This year, Tourism Authority of Thailand will give a chance to two visitors to win a luxury trip to Thailand with four days and three nights stay. Also, the ‘Jewellery for Kings’ Salem al Shueibi Jewellery will be organising a raffle draw and the lucky visitor will get a chance to own one of their precious handcrafted jewellery.  

In addition, Austrian Association will be conducting an auction for children’s welfare. During the opening day of MIJEX 2019, Dr Wolf Bialonzcyk, the prize-winning jewel designer and worldwide renowned specialist for melo pearls, is going to auction one of his creations for Children First Association, chaired by H H Dr Mona bint Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said.  

The auction is supported by Gerhard Lackner, the Austrian Deputy Economic Delegate in Muscat, Vega Intertrade & Exhibitions, and the Austrian Association Chairman Ahmed Radwan. Consumers can buy with confidence at the exhibition as the products are guaranteed by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and certified laboratories The Gem and Jewellery Institute of Thailand, International Gemological Institute and Gulf Institute of Gemology. The exhibition will take place at Hall 4 and 5.
