H E Dr Rawiyah bint Saud al Busaidiyah, Minister of Higher Education, issued a Ministerial Decision to remove University of Buckingham from the list of recommended institutions in the United Kingdom. It has added new universities to its list. 

The ministry announced this via its Twitter account. ‘The committee has decided to stop the enrolment of Omani students to this university and has decided not to recognise the equivalence certificates issued by the University of Buckingham after this decision.’ 

The Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) has also confirmed that it has included some other educational institutions in its list of approved varsities. These are University of Charleston, Thomas Jefferson University, The College of Wooster in the US, NEOMA Business School, EM Normandie, the HEC Paris group in France and the American University in the Emirates.
