Team from Smithsonian Institution in Oman

The Ministry of Heritage and Culture is hosting a delegation from the US-based Smithsonian Institution till Thursday. The visit is aimed at exchanging information on display techniques, exhibits and the use of information technology in managing museums.
The delegation visited the turtle sanctuary in the Sharqiyah region, the Botanic Garden in Al Khoudh, Qurm Natural Park and geological sites in Jebel Akhdar.
